The wines of Cape Pastoral are the result of a harmonious relationship between the best of the Western Cape grape-growing soil, weather elements and the natural response of the winemakers to transform the grapes into tasteful wines.

The Range

Chenin Blanc Chardonnay

The use of the colour blue symbolises water which is essential to sustain all life. The importance of plants and growth is conveyed by the soil texture background. The indigenous flower illustration is an ode to the pristine beauty of nature where there is no human interference. Together these visual elements tie into the pastoral style of creative works that idealise rural life and landscapes. They also point to nature’s ability to thrive organically without human intervention.

Cabernet Sauvignon Merlot

The flowing shades of orange
on this label represent the sun and its role as core source of earth’s energy. The spots refer to the dispersal of seeds that happens naturally without human interference, and the bee is an important pollinator of crops (facing the threat of deforestation).
